Last evening, RDCV met to approve a decision to form a Neighbourhood Forum—the first step in creating a Neighbourhood Plan that is equitable for all who live and work in the Royal Docks.
The official name will be 'North Woolwich & East Silvertown' (NWEST) Neighbourhood Forum. A chair and committee members—residents of North Woolwich & East Silvertown—were elected unanimously to head-up the Forum.
The next step will be to submit a letter and neighbourhood boundary map to Newham Council. The committee will be meeting over the next month to draft up this material and they welcome any and all who wish to participate. Dates and locations for these meetings will be posted on the RDCV website.
