This past Thursday we held our monthly meeting with one of our best turnouts. Many different voices were represented in the room and much was discussed regarding the Neighbourhood Plan. It was agreed to call our forum: NW+ST, the North Woolwich + Silvertown Neighbourhood Forum.
One fun activity involved participants in shaping their priorities for the Plan. Everyone wrote down key themes and they then put their names under the themes which were most important to them. These were recorded and will be integral to making the NW+ST plan.
Keep an eye out for local stories from long time residents of Silvertown and North Woolwich as part of Newham's Heritage Festival. We'll be sharing great stories and much more in the coming months.
