On 24th of February 2017, the London Borough of Newham (LBN) released a Local Plan Review (LPR) entitled "Issues & Options", which was made available online for public review and feedback. The closing date of this consultation was this 7th of April.
It was unfortunate that there had been little promotion of the opportunity through LBN's channels or those of any others. RDCV and NW+ST made its best efforts to spread word of this opportunity to comment on plans which will have a significant impact on the lives of Royal Docks residents. Through its newsletter, via its Facebook page and during a public event last month, the NW+ST team shared the LPR with residents of the docks, and attempted to explain the publication's rather technical jargon. Any feedback received was to be forwarded on to LBN.
